Northern Soul’s North Yorkshire photographer, Paul Hunter, came across a production crew filming a remake of The Secret Garden, reset in the late 1940s starring Colin Firth and Julie Walters, at Duncombe Park. 

 

Situated just outside Helmsley in North Yorkshire, the park has its own walled garden and a beautiful castle which serves as an interesting backdrop. These stunning snaps include the grounds, production vehicles and even an old Humber car from the 1940s.
