Ready to take a trip down the rabbit hole? Attic Door Productions presents an exciting promenade version of Lewis Carroll’s weird and wonderful tale, featuring songs, puppetry and a lot of tea!

Alice in WonderlandAlthough considered the perfect summer activity for ages four to eleven, this 17 year old definitely got a thrill following a white rabbit around Rochdale Town Hall’s splendid surroundings, which for the first time have been open to promenade. The travelling theatre company, although drawing from the classic tale, have devised an all new script which aims not to tell the story of Alice, but immerse the children in the fantasy world of wonderland. You could see the excitement of the children during the song and dance about soup- and yes parents, I saw you too!

Celebrating 150 years of Alice in Wonderland, this award winning theatre group adapted the story excellently, creating a fun day out that engages both kids and adults alike! If you’re in need of wacky characters, an enchanting story, or just a way of getting out of the house, get on down to the following dates – you’d be mad as a hatter not to!
