Forget Me Not, a new exhibition at The Exchange in North Shields, will showcase the work of pARTners which provides art classes for people living with dementia in North Tyneside.

The programme, which has been running for almost four years under the umbrella of the MHA Live at Home Scheme, takes place at North Shields Methodist Church. Nine artist volunteers support and tutor members of the classes on a one-to-one basis.

The paintings show the skills, life experiences, concentration, imagination and sheer joy that members bring to their art. Each person is encouraged to develop their own unique creative voice and the exhibition reflects a wide range of techniques, approaches and subjects.
