A new group exhibition exploring the complexities of extreme body modification, deliberately altering of the human anatomy or human physical appearance, is coming to The Lowry in Salford.
The State of Us, showcasing art from the grotesque to the beautiful, is created by contemporary artists who have experimented with the body and technology to transform, manipulate, reinvent or reshape how we see and understand ourselves.

The State of Us will be open to the public from November 9, 2019 and will feature a collection of work by ten international artists. The exhibition will run until February 25, 2020.
